The Waratah Cup (Under 18s) is an introductory level 15 a-side Rugby competition open to all High Schools to participate in. The Waratah Cup is a tier below the Waratah Shield (the NSW Schoolboy’s competition).The ‘Coast to Country Cup” (Under 16s) is a new 15 a-side competition providing all independent schools across the state with an additional opportunity to expose their Year 9/10 teams to tournament rugby.
Camps are conducted in both end of Terms 1 and 2 School Holidays, where players of all abilities get the opportunity to improve and practice their skills for one to two full days.Camps are implemented in regional and metropolitan venues across NSW. All camps are supported by either current Waratah players or representatives of the Qantas Wallabies Coaching staff.

In 2013 Rugby AU will conduct a Leadership Forum in term three for year 11 students at Rugby committed schools. Five (5) students and one (1) teacher will be invited to attend a one day forum on Leadership underpinned by the values of Rugby and utilising key Rugby and Business leader to impart learning and development.The program is designed to support school leadership programs and assist in preparing year 11 leaders to recognise and apply effective leadership into their final school year and beyond.
