McDonald Jones Stadium (Newcastle)


  • 33,000 capacity
  • Modern facilities - western stand was redeveloped in 2011
  • A hill at each end – one is family zone (alcohol free) and the other has a dedicated craft beer bar
  • Large car parks in the precinct both in front of the venue and on the race track if required.

Sydney Cricket Ground


  • 46,000 capacity
  • Field orientation now EAST to WEST
  • Finals will be held at the SCG
  • Both screens have increased significantly in size
  • Parking available in EP2, EP3 and EQ

Additional access fees apply for any travel to and from Sydney Domestic or International Airports. A NSW Waratahs membership card, valid NSW Waratahs ticket (purchased through Ticketek) or corporate hospitality ticket must be shown to gain access to free public transport on game days.

  • Brand new stadium
  • Second fixture to be held at the venue
  • Grandstand is steeper than Suncorp Stadium which means there is really no bad seat.
  • Multiple bars within the concourse for meeting friends at prior to finding your seat
  • Huge precinct area outside the venue
